Dyna drama’s

So this weeks head scratcher comes in the shape of re-vamping the rear end of this 06 Harley Dyna.

Ordinarily its a pretty easy job. You chop the rear, make the seat loop, then make a seat to fit, then sort some custom lighting, but not this time… The customer wants to keep the original seat and lighting, so everything has to be formed around it (fml). So after bending the loop with a bender it had to be filled with kiln dried sand and heated and teased into shape to fit, then it has been braced to give it more strength along the top and flows the lines of the seat. Now we have to make eccentric brackets and fender struts so that the fender hugs the tyre right. I suppose if it was easy everyone would be doing it eh ;)
